Is what I had for breakfast. Goddamn, this shit does not feel good.
Anyway. My tattoo. Let me show you it:
I’m pretty sure this thing is too badass for me. Yes, definitely. Any other tattoos I might get in the future will feature only trees or grilled cheese sandwiches. No zombies or death or flirting with religious iconography or anything. Just the things I really care about: trees and food.
I’m at work now and there is a delightful stew oozing out of my arm and on to my conservative blue dress shirt. Luckily the shirt is kind of too big and therefore not one I like very much.

Looks good. How long will it take to heal?
And is that your new bass in the background?

Thanks, fellas. I’m freaked out by the colour scheme. The design is pretty much just what I wanted, but the yellows and greens look pretty weird to me right now.
I’m told it should take between 1.5 and 2 weeks to heal up. I have a whole regimen that involves special soaps and ointments and lotions and things. That IS the new-to-me bass behind me. Sadly it hurts t o play right now. :/

Whoa, that thing is big. PAINFUL??
Well done.
I want something on the back of my arm, just above my elbow, on both arms. I can’t decide what.

Thanks ladies. Yeah, it hurt like a mother. I’m usually pretty good with pain, but I was white-knuckling and biting my lip almost from the beginning. I think mainly because there’s a shitload of detail and shading you probably can’t really see due to the crappy webcam images. I’m probably going to get Trip to take some better pics of it later on, which will post on Facebook. The man actually wanted to do it bigger than this, if you can imagine. As it is most t-shirt sleeves won’t cover it, but I’m cool with that. Yay for working in I.T. :P
